TaiChi for Busy People

Why Advanced?

As many of you know, Easy Tai Chi and 4 Minute Fitness basics are easy to learn from my teaching videos. In essence, these DVD's offer a "Beginners" seminar in the comfort of your home, at your own convenience.

Most people who learn and practice from my teaching videos and DVDs will have significant health improvements, even just a few minutes a day.

Exciting News! What most people don't know is that learning the basics is just the beginning - there is so much MORE potential!

Advanced seminars are designed to help you maximize your benefits and get the most from your movements.

The absolute best way to learn Easy Tai Chi and 4 Minute Fitness is to learn the basics from the video, then attend an Advanced session. This approach is most economical in both time and money spent, producing maximum results efficiently.

SY00403_.WMF (4974 bytes)   Who qualifies as "Advanced"? In other words, will this session be appropriate for me?

SY00381_.WMF (3464 bytes)   Great question. If you have learned the movements from the videos and feel comfortable with them (you DO NOT need to have the sequence memorized), then Advanced is for you.

If you have taken the "Ultimate" or "Teacher Certification" training, you are obviously serious, so Advanced is for you.

SY00403_.WMF (4974 bytes)  I have tai chi experience and want to attend the seminar, but I do not know your movements. What do I do?

SY00381_.WMF (3464 bytes)  Easy. Order the videos immediately and learn from them. Get the basics inexpensively and conveniently, then attend the Advanced Seminar. You will pick it up quickly and learn so much more from this session!

SY00403_.WMF (4974 bytes) I want to be certified to teach at this seminar, but I am not registered in the Certification program. What is the next step?

SY00381_.WMF (3464 bytes)  You are welcome to attend day three and or day for for personal interest and to further you tai chi and life skills. If you want to use these days to become certified, you must upgrade to the Teacher Certification package ASAP.

  1. Upgrade: Teacher Certification information - click here
Best to call us to do this. (866) 682-4244 after 9 AM Pacific.

  2. Register: Then simply register for the full 4 day Symposium.

SY00403_.WMF (4974 bytes)   What is the advantage of personalized teaching?

SY00381_.WMF (3464 bytes)   Many of the more fascinating concepts can't be taught by video tape or DVD. Corrections are small and often subtle, but offer amazing potential. Personal instruction can help you find sensations and feeling within your body you have never before experienced.

Personal instruction can increase your benefits ten fold or more.

SY00403_.WMF (4974 bytes)  Some examples, please?

SY00381_.WMF (3464 bytes) Sure. Read on...

- the discovery of power within rotational movements
- the thrill of dropping the spine
- the relief found in complete shoulder relaxation
- the grace and orchestration resulting from movement that fluidly connects the fingers and toes
- the excitement of being grounded and balanced
- the awareness of movement being created by breath
- the shift resulting from "getting out of the head" , creating movements from the legs and feet
- actually feeling "be still as a mountain, yet flow as a great river" within your own being.
- discovering pure joy and timelessness in movement
- creating end experiencing "group energy"

SY00403_.WMF (4974 bytes)  The last inch. Why do you focus so much on that?

SY00381_.WMF (3464 bytes)  You can dramatically increase the flexibility and strength benefits by focusing on the last inch of movement and rotation. Most of us take the lazy route when it comes to movement, but if you have an understanding of the value of the last inch and know how to incorporate this concept, it is easy to add it to all aspects of the Easy Tai Chi and 4 Minute Fitness movements.

This last inch is vitally important and is best taught in a personalized setting.

SY00403_.WMF (4974 bytes)  Will more advanced training help me continue to improve at home?

SY00381_.WMF (3464 bytes)  Absolutely. You will learn so much more, and develop the awareness necessary to "self correct", to identify problems and potential areas of improvement and make changes that will increase your benefits.

SY00403_.WMF (4974 bytes)  A holiday that heals? Don't all holidays heal?

SY00381_.WMF (3464 bytes)  Most vacations increase relaxation (although many actually add to your overall stress levels...)

I usually offer these teaching seminars in vacation destinations, so the learning and interaction takes place in wondrous settings. Depending on the intensity of the session, there is often time for exploration and spa treatments like massages. But more importantly, you have the option of staying a little longer than your booked session.

Rather than a vacation that adds body weight and stress into your life, consider taking a vacation that will improve your technique and maximize your results for years to follow. Arrive home re-enthused about your movement and feel ever so much more energized.

And if you are taking a Certification, you may be able to use the expenses to reduce your taxes and increase your income..
