LOVE Tai Chi for Busy People - page 5
"Being a dancer all my life I was not surprised by the sense of beauty, grace and
flow that come about doing the form. What has surprised me is what a radical
difference the posture and way of walking have made in my life. From the moment I
"tried them on" last week I knew that this new way of holding myself could be
one of the keys I have been looking for. I felt instantly more relaxed and
"right".
The even better news is that not only have the relaxation
and sense of well-being continued and deepened but I find myself remaining in a place of
detachment and non-resistance much more easily and naturally (struggle is
withering away) when I sit, stand and move this way."
E. Kratka, CT
"I
have gone back for repeated watchings and note-takings and continue to be impressed with
the quality of your instruction. Nice that the tapes hold up so well with repetition. There
is a depth to your teaching that bears repeating."
G. Hallberg, TX
"Just wanted to say thanks again for your excellent Tai
Chi for Busy People video. I've been practicing Tai Chi every day for nearly two
months now, and it has become a very pleasant and energizing daily habit.
I start every morning now with Tai Chi, light exercises, and contemplative prayer, all of
which works wonderfully together to energize my body, mind, and spirit. Again,
thanks for making Tai Chi so easy and enjoyable."
C. Petch, CA
"I never got around to
viewing (T'ai Chi for Busy People) until the end of January, but since then I have been
practicing faithfully two or three times a day and the results have been great. My
flexibility has increased tremendously and I really feel relaxed after each practice."

"The mirrored studio is a great idea. I've tried two other (t'ai
chi) videos which don't use a mirror and am left 'dazed and confused'".
D.C., Ontario (Received by letter)
"I enjoy the cassette
(the audio cassette that comes with the package) that you sent with the video. The ending
arrangement is really great to use early in the morning when the brain is still somewhat
asleep as you move through the form."
R. Alexander
"Some feedback for Dr. Keith... I
really like your use of mirrors for demonstration. It is much more effective than
the confusing forward facing technique I've seen in other Tai Chi instructional videos.
I also like the explanation behind the moves, both the history/meaning
and how one should execute and feel during the move. Very nice! Thanks again for your
help."

"I can't say enough about Keith Jeffery's wonderful video, "Tai
Chi for Busy People". Within 30 minutes of receiving the tape I was
practicing and enjoying Tai Chi.
Jeffery provides a lengthy step by
step explanation of each move, breaking the move down into individual motions. The
explanation is followed by a single complete run-through of the move with a few words of
guidance as you make each motion. This two-part approach is very effective in teaching you
the move motion by motion and then letting you practice it. The setting of the
run-throughs in serene natural scenes with peaceful music is profoundly restful.
You will experience not only
the pleasure of Tai Chi in five minutes a day, but also the peace and serenity for which
Tai Chi is so renowned.
And one last word...if I can
do it, anybody can! I've always been a klutz, but the practice of Tai Chi actually
makes me feel more graceful"
C. Petch, California
"Your easy Tai Chi tape is great. I
appreciate the considerable explanations you go through so that one can
understand the reasoning behind all this. I especially love seeing the bay in the
background while you're doing your form - absolutely wonderful to work with. I am glad to
know there is this beautiful place in my mind that I can go to when I breath quietly at my
desk at work now.
I wanted to tell you too Keith, that I am truly grateful to have found a person
that has truly appreciated this incredible Chinese movement and has incorporated the
process on tape for the western layman......so that those of us who know that we
want this in our life can actually have it, not only everyday, personally with our tape,
but with a complete understanding of the art form, so that we can appreciate it maybe as
much as the Chinese do. Thanks again for the tape."

"Just
bought your "Four Minute" exercise and "Tai Chi for Busy People" and
my wife and I love them. The Four Minute exercises have given my sixty
eight year old wife a good feeling of well being and has improved her balance. My seventy
four year old body is in good shape and I but do enjoy doing the exercises with her.
If I were younger I would be first in line to take your
instructors courses. I studied Tai Chi some years ago and it is nice to see and
use an effective, but simple form of the art."
T. Sowers, Idaho
"Keep up the good work. I
have found your approach to these Martial Art techniques to be very effective for me after
having tested the waters of the more "traditional" approaches with the so called
masters of the craft. I completely respect and stand in awe of their
accomplishment and skill but you seem to have discovered how to teach the craft to
us "middle aged westerners" who can derive almost instant mental , spiritual,
and physical rewards from following your approaches."
Bill.P., CT
"Enjoying the
tape immensely so far!!! From your video, you are an innovative and dynamic
instructor. With the care you take in explanations and teaching style you remind
me of my Kempo instructor here in Greenville. You have a great product."
B. Hornick, IN
"I have
some comments for you that you can feel free to post on your web site as a testimonial. The
videotape was produced well, and the movements are easy. You don't have to spend
a lot of time learning intricate poses, which put me off from learning tai chi in the
past. This will definitely be a daily practice for me."
K. Smith, CA
"The audio tape is very helpful. I have listened to it in the car
back and forth from work for about two weeks. Not only is it helpful but it is very
soothing too."
J. Evans, Manitoba
"Your tape is absolutely terrific,
by the way. The moves could not be presented more clearly. Employing
the mirror is a masterstroke. I've been using the video for months now, and am
just about finished learning the last couple of moves, after which I can
"graduate" to the audio format (another great idea). The tips on your website
have also helped."
